Olfactory Description:
The Journey of a Winter Guardian (Maksim x Rajesh Balkrishnan)
Yeti captures the feeling of a winter guardian leaving the mountains and entering the Himalayan forest. A scent of altitude, evergreen air, moss, roots, smoke, oud, and quiet masculine strength.
The opening is sharp, aromatic, and full of movement. Juniper berry, Timur pepper, cardamom, elemi, and black pepper create a bright resinous spark, like mountain air meeting the first breath of forest.
As the scent settles, oakmoss, silver fir, fir needles duglas, and black tea bring the fragrance into deeper green territory. The heart feels textured and grounded: fir needles, moss underfoot, bitter tea, resin in the silence, and the calm shadow of Himalayan woods.
In the drydown, Yeti becomes warmer, deeper, and more masculine. Sugandha kokila adds balsamic spice, Thai oud brings dark resinous wood, sandalwood gives smoothness, while Valerian root, Nord and Guaiac wood create an earthy, smoky, slightly animalic trail.
The final impression is confident, majestic, and calming. A coniferous fougère with depth, restraint, and a quiet mythical presence.
Yeti is more than a fresh woody scent. It feels like a living forest on skin: aromatic, mossy, smoky, grounded, and quietly powerful.
Who love forest scents with character: feel steady but alive. Something modern, coniferous, mossy, slightly leathery, and very wearable.
You like sweet gourmand perfumes or want something heavy, loud, and very smoky.
HOW IT FEELS ON SKIN
It opens crisp and aromatic like stepping into Himalayan pines after a long climb. The texture is green and coniferous with a bright, clean push, then it settles into a woody-mossy depth that feels calm and grounded. As it warms on skin, a subtle leathery shadow appears underneath, earthy, slightly rugged, quietly confident. Majestic, calming, and a little mysterious.
WHEN TO WEAR
when you want adventure with control, a scent that feels outdoorsy and alive, but still polished and easy to live with. Perfect for daily wear, travel, and days when you want a clear, steady confidence without going loud. It shines in cooler weather, but it’s also excellent year-round for anyone who loves modern, masculine-leaning fougères with a refined edge.

Maksim told me this was going to be a bit easier on the wearable scale. And indeed it is!
The top materials are quite prominent, I think I learned how Timur pepper smells just by smelling it from Yeti. Hence prominent top.
Yeti gives me a bit of sophisticated vibes. If that makes sense. Yet it is raw and has a lot of forestry elements but also some elements of animalistic properties. It’s probably the most versatile of all the creations. It has freshness, and calm, crispness but also a bit of grounded woodiness that adds warmth to it, which puts it away from being some sort of cologne.
I can imagine this being a great signature to someone who want’s a little bit of both of the Maksim offerings.
Oh and the Prachin oud in this, glorious oud for the woody/smoky oud lovers alike!

Received 9ml as my Anniver Challenge and now I have to get the 50 ml….. Very different from anything else in my collection. The very first smell reminded me of Oud Infini but soon that very strong barnyard oud gave way to softer smells of a forest…. Have to start saving !
